Report: Steve Kerr Accepts Five-Year, $25 Million deal from Warriors
NBA.com’s David Aldridge reports that Steve Kerr has decided to pass up on joining Phil Jackson in New York and will instead accept the Golden State Warriors’ offer to become their new head coach.
Kerr had garnered interest from both the Warriors and Knicks over the last few weeks, as the two franchises were in a bidding war to haul in the former Suns General Manager and TNT Analyst.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Kerr’s deal with the Warriors is set for five-years and $25 million.
